Current Events

As members of the Puerto Rican Institute for the development of the Arts (PRIDA), we have had the privilege of participating in their biggest annual event, The National Puerto Rican Artisans Fair & Book Expo, since 2014.

As a result of the pandemic, the Fair is going virtual. Please log onto on Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd at 9 a.m.  We hope you will support the many wonderful artisans and authors participating in this event.

PRIDA is an organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Puerto Rican artists and the arts.

PRIDA grew out of Comité Noviembre’s Puerto Rican Artisan Fair and Exhibit which takes place in November and has brought together the best Puerto Rican artists on the east coast for a day of arts, crafts and literature since 2006.

For the past 33 years, Comité Noviembre has celebrated Puerto Rican Heritage Month in the United States.  This non-profit organization was created to commemorate and pay tribute to the Puerto Ricans who have made contributions to this nation, to support educational opportunities for youth through college scholarships, promote, acknowledge, create awareness and take ownership of our rich culture, language, and history, as well as to create open forums to discuss critical issues affecting the Puerto Rican community specifically in the areas of education, youth leadership development, health, politics and civic involvement, and to institutionalize November as Puerto Rican Heritage Month throughout the United States.

Join us in celebrating Puerto Rican Heritage Month on November 21st and 22nd, 2020!

Stay safe. Stay strong. Stay proud!
